"The churches of Christ greet you." Romans 16:16(b) We would like to thank you for visiting our web site and extend an invitation to you to come and worship with us. The Bible instructs on how we are to worship. The book of John, chapter 4, verse 24 tells us not only that we are to worship God, but it tells us how we must worship, it says worship God "in Spirit and truth". This is what we are earnestly trying to do at Annapolis. Annapolis is a growing congregation, with about 150 worshipers on Sunday morning. We have Bible classes for all ages before the Sunday morning worship service and at the mid-week Bible study on Wednesday nights. The Annapolis congregation was established in the 1957-58 time frame when an officer at the U.S. Naval Academy began meeting with midshipmen to study the Bible. This was the beginning of our congregation. Our first church building was in the Eastport area of Annapolis. In 1970 the congregation built our present building across the Severn River in Arnold, Maryland. |
