Matthew 6:27 (NASB) "And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life?"

Do you ever feel the weight of the world? So many problems all around us. People working more and more for less and less. Have you wondered what is going to happen to you and your loved ones?

Jesus was speaking to calm fears of His followers who felt the same cares pressing down on them. But His words of wisdom were simple and profound: God will take care of you. Sometimes the simplest promises are the hardest to believe. The reassurance that He knows what we need - and He will provide.

But how? That’s where your brothers and sisters in Christ come in — we all work together to help each other, as faithful children, as instruments of God’s will here on earth. In Acts 2, the believers sold their possessions and “sharing them with all, as anyone might have need” (Acts 2:44-45).

As you can, help out your brothers and sisters in Christ (Matt 12:46-50) whenever you see need, living lives of service. If you ever worry, take strength knowing that your family of fellow believers is here for you - and, as He promised, God will provide your every need.
